Cologne is located in the North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany. It is one of the big cities in the country. The city is located on the Rhine River and is known for its beautiful Gothic architecture. Cologne was founded in the first century by the Romans and has a rich history. It produces one of the most expensive perfumes (Eau De Cologne). If you want to have more fun, just visit in February, that’s when the carnival takes place every year. It is known as Karneval in German and is a celebration of music, dancing, and costumes, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Cologne Bonn Airport is conveniently situated just 15.4 km from the heart of Cologne, with a quick taxi ride, you can reach the city centre in approximately 15 minutes, so it’s easy to plan day trips or longer excursions. If you have some extra time, consider visiting the nearby area. 

Overall, Cologne is a famous city, and it somehow manages to pass it off as charming. It has nice spots and a great nightlife. Don’t just visit, but make sure you enjoy your stay there.
